I have read a really good book called ‘How to train your dragon: How to Steal a Dragon’s Sword’ by Cressida Cowell.

 The story is about Hiccup’s father who is the King and Hiccup, who can speak dragonese. He is also a Viking and a hero. Hiccup has read all Flashburns books about sword fighting and is now on a quest to find him.

Hiccup finds a witch in a castle . The witch tells him there is a sword fighting competition to decide who will be the King of the Wilderwest. Hiccup’s father has disappeared and he knows the witch had something to do with it.

Hiccup finds himself in a mine where Flashburn is chained up. The crown is guarded by a dragon called the Wodensfang. Hiccup takes the crown but as he leaves the cave, the witch took it and locked them up with Flashburn.

They both managed to escape and trapped the witch in a cupboard. Hiccup won the sword fighting competition against his Dad. The witch escaped and told everybody that hiccup had the slave mark and could not be king.

Alvin, the witches son, who came third in the competition, became king and declared war on the dragons. The dragon rebellion started. The Vikings where losing the war. Hiccup saved the day by finding a fake jewell that stopped the rebellion and all of the dragons followed him. Hiccup eventually found the map that led to the real jewel.

I liked the book because I love thrilling stories and I love long books.
