This week we have moved onto chapter 2 of the Butterfly Lion. The boys have answered questions relating to the text and we have focused on character descriptions.

In Maths we have reinforced mental strategies for addition and subtraction particularly when adding and subtracting 9, 11, 19 and 21.

Our Science focus this week has led us to investigate why we eat and to begin to look at healthy foods.

All the boys enjoyed a training session with iPads and they all created impressive pieces.

Week 3 will see us reading chapter 3 of the Butterfly Lion and we will also begin to work on column addition and subtraction. The 4 times table will be our focus for testing this week.
