This week we have continued to read Stig of the Dump and we have learnt about the Stone Age.
In Maths we have worked on solving word problems and reinforced our understanding of decimals and fractions.

We are so proud of the commitment the Year 3 boys have demonstrated regarding their Reading Buddy duties. All boys are enjoying the experiences and the boys in Pre Prep look forward to their arrival. Look who listened to a story today!
This week we have focused on our ESB examination. All boys have had the opportunity to rehearse their poem, passage and talk. For homework this week we ask that you please continue to practise the different elements with your son.
We have read Chapter 3 of Stig of the Dump and we have completed work relating to this chapter.
In Maths we have looked at equivalent fractions, decimals and division and multiplication. Next week we will look at rotation, translation, symmetry and problem solving.
On Monday we have the Whole School Photograph and we look forward to seeing all boys wearing their blazers in readiness for this.

We returned to School on Tuesday and have continued with Stig of the Dump. We have focused on characterisation and worked through a reading comprehension.
In Maths we have looked at equivalent fractions and improper fractions. Next week we will continue to reinforce decimals, division and multiplication and some fractions.
The boys have continued to work hard on their ESB presentations and these are going really well. We continue to encourage boys to rehearse their poems, talk and passage at home and at School.
