An Early Arrival

This morning the boys arrived and we were surprised to see that overnight the Easter Bunny had paid us all a visit. The boys were so pleased!

Thank you to all the boys for all their hard work and to you all for your support and generous gifts.

Have a wonderful Easter!

Animals and Nature

At the beginning of this week we were visited by Mrs Demetriou and Cally. Cally is a Stroke Rehab dog. Mrs Demetriou explained how Cally helps people who have suffered a stroke.

On Monday in our Pathways Assembly the boys heard the Easter Story. Some of the boys helped to tell the story.

Congratulations to the Maths Puzzle Winners this term.

On Wednesday the boys were treated to a RSPB Workshop. The boys learnt about Biodiversity and we they looked at the wildlife in the School grounds.

This week we have continued writing our new Mr Men story books. In Maths we have focused on time using digital and analogue clocks.

Next week we will solve word problems involving time.

We are really looking forward to our Bounce Day tomorrow!

Have a great weekend!

Who is your favourite Mr Men character?

This week we have begun our new creative focus. The boys have visited the Reception classes and read the boys a Mr Men story of their choosing. The boys are now busily planning a Mr Men story of their own to then share with their Reception buddy.

In Maths we have looked at bar charts, frequency charts and carroll diagrams.

The boys are all busily rehearsing for the end of term House competition.

In Maths next week we will be looking at time on an analogue and digital clocks.

Next week we begin with Chocolate Mufti and end with Bounce Day so a busy week ahead.

Have a great weekend!

An outstanding week!

The boys have delivered their amazing research in their Geography sessions. Their knowledge and passion was truly outstanding and great preparation for their ESB examination.

We have completed the Iron Man and now next week we move on to Mr Men books and how we can adapt our writing for different audiences.

In Maths this week we have focused on co-ordinates and angles. Next week we will investigate the different ways we can gather, present and read data using a variety of graphs.

In Science we continue to learn about light and shadows.

We wish you a restful weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday at our consultation evening.
