A book which gave me enormous pleasure as a child, and which I have read to boys here at Lochinver House, is The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by CS Lewis.  It is an enchanting tale; magical and heart warming but also sad and tragic at times.  CS Lewis has created strong, believable characters that stay with you for ever.  It is a timeless story that does not date with age.  Give it a go!

Dear boys and parents
