Niam’s 200 Word Challenge

This weekend my cousin came over to have a sleep over. When he arrived I was really excited and I asked my dad

“Could we play on the Xbox 360?”

He replied,

“No could you play a quieter game?”

We said

“Ok”

We played a game called Word search. In the middle of the game I heard some noise. It was coming from outside. I looked out but it was too dark. All I could hear were leaves. As the leave rustled, the door bell rang,

“Ding dong!”

My auntie Shilpa opened the door. I looked down stairs it was my friends, Mya and Luke. Luke had a big present. He unwrapped it. It was a Minion puzzle and it was 100pieces! Luke was so happy he whispered

“oh yeah, oh yeah!”

Luke, Kush and I did the puzzle together. In the middle of making the puzzle Kush and I were bored so we went up stairs. Then my mum called us

“Kush, Niam dinner time!”

After dinner, we set up our camp bed on the living room floor. We put on Elf the movie but halfway through I was tired so I said to Kush

“Lets go to bed”.

Kushal’s 200 Word Challenge

THE AUSTRALIAN CANDY LAND

One day I Kushal went in to my garden and then as the leaves rustled I saw a kangaroo eating a plant not one but two. It had a furry coat and it was a male kangaroo. He said to me hello Mr Stranger in a rather peculiar voice, he sounded very happy. He lead the way to a very strange destination and then I realised I was in Australia where boxing kangaroo live. I explored the jungle that the kangaroo had brought me to. It had crocodiles and birds and fly’s. In the middle of the forest it had a magical marvellous candy land, it had chocolate trees and the biggest of all the others rocky road mountain with candy topping’s on. I went in it and I cut down the biggest chocolate tree. The kangaroo said ‘are you chopping a tree’.  I said yes. The kangaroo said whispering ‘I have a spaceship’. I was astonished I said ‘.are you a space kangaroo’ he said that he had a garage in the rocky road mountain. So we went inside rocky road mountain. And there it was a big great spaceship .I went in to space and went home.

Harry’s 200 Word Challenge

Two Hundred Word Challenge:

It was a cold, windy Autumn day in October. My family and I decided to go ice skating, “I’m so excited’ I said to my Mum.  On the way we walked through the park and it was very pretty, the leaves were orange and the sun shone brightly. But soon the wind began to get stronger,  “put your hat on Harry” mummy said, but as the leaves rustled, my hat blew off my head.  I watched as my hat drifted up and up to the top of a tree, “oh no my hat” I said “what am I going to do now’! “Its not like someone can throw it down from the tree for me is it?” I said. However, I was very wrong about that.  Out of nowhere, a cheeky monkey swung from the tree and picked up my hat and put it on his head, ‘what a cheeky monkey” mummy said. “Please Mr. monkey can you throw me my hat”, the monkey looked at me and put out his hand. “I think he wants something in return” mummy said, “I know what he will like” I said.  The monkey took the banana and dropped the hat, ‘thanks Mr. Monkey”!!!!!

The Weird Spirit by Ehsen

Once there were two mountaineers. They were set on a mission to climb a misty mountain. So one morning they packed for the freezing mountain. It took five long days to reach it. Some were dull but others were beautiful and sunny. By the time they got there it was a black night so they fell fast asleep. In the morning they changed in to their thick, cosy, warm and comfy coats and their heavy trousers. Next they put on some stretchy goggles.

“That took long,” whispered the first man.

They set off on their amazing mission. The snow slowed them down but they persevered. They heard noises but the second man just whispered “Don’t worry!”

So they just ignored it. There were a lot of animals, so it was a good experience. They had a tremendously tiring day so they made a fire and set up a camp. Then they talked about their lives for two hours long.

But as the leaves rustled a spooky spirit awoke and shouted “Go away! You will cause a fire! Never return!”

They were horrified by what they saw. Their faces were pale and fingers numb. They immediately ran away without taking their things and never returned.

Niam P’s 200 Word Challenge

In the busy city of Tokyo there was a talented Formula one driver called Fast Fred. He drove a rapid, sparkling silver Mercedes car. It drove at speeds of 300mph. Fred had won six consecutive seasons. He wore a solid, shiny black helmet, a fire repellent suit and boots. His rival speedy Seb was extremely hard to beat. It was the grand finale at Tokyo. There were 60 laps to race.

Today was the race for pole. Fred did the fastest lap first, so he qualified to be at the front of the race. Seb managed to gain second position to start the race. The next day all the cars lined up. Fred started at first place. When the lights turned green all the cars went shooting away from the start line. There were lots of leaves on the track. As the leaves rustled they made a whoosh sound. The leaves stuck to the tyres like a octopus’s suction cups which was a bad impact on the tyres Then his pit crew said “Fred you need to come to the pit stop for new tyres because leaves are destroying your tyres.” So Fred went into the pits and got new tyres. By then Seb was first and Fred was third. Fred was able to over take the person who was second place but was not able to over take Seb. When Seb went into the pits then Fred took first place.  Fred’s car made a roaring noise and so did Seb’s. The roar was like two angry lions attacking its prey. At the lap 51 Seb over took Fred when he had came out the pits. Finally at lap 59 Fred over took Seb and won the race. Fred went on to the podium at was declared the champion.

Theo’s 200 Word Challenge

…..but as the leaves rustled …..

It is colourful in the Autumn, you see, but as the leaves rustled, the leaves fell off the tree and

started to gather on the ground. When Jack Frost comes, he freezes The world and covers

everything in glistening icy frost. As the leaves started to rustle, a little head popped up from under

the leaves. It had a spiky back and it was afraid of humans. He was very shy, he shook the leaves

off his spiky back and shuffled towards a big house. He opens the door that doesn’t lock and

began to climb up the stairs. He went to the bedroom, he jumped out of the window and he slid

down onto the pavement then he shuffled back into another den of leaves.
